Marine Science Consortium on Wallops Island
The Marine Science Consortium is a nonprofit educational corporation comprised of regional universities and colleges. The Consortium is committed to excellence in education and research in the marine and environmental sciences. I have teamed up with the consortium to do nature photography workshops at their wonderful campus on Wallops Island near Assateague Island National Seashore in Virginia.

I have had the pleasure of knowing owners Nathan Varley and Linda Thurston for several years now and you can’t find two more dedicated, knowledgeable, and friendly folks than this couple. They are top-notch naturalists and wildlife ecologists, and they are Yellowstone to me as they know just about everything there is to know about this extraordinary ecosystem. I have had the privilege of conducting spring nature photography workshops for them and let me tell you, they are wonderful. Nathan and Linda lead wolf and wildlife watching tours of Yellowstone throughout the year and even if you don’t attend our photography workshops, consider one of their Yellowstone programs. You won’t be disappointed.
